Steel battery cabinet for Powerstar PS3x00rm2u or 3u series 3 UPS
These battery cabinets may be daisy chained onto the UPS to increase Battery backed runtime. Connect up to 4 additional battery cabinets on the daisy chain. The first unit connects to the UPS. Standard molded connectors are used for our PS3300rm2u. Military Spec round locking connectors are used for the PS3300rm3u or the PS3300LCS UPS models. All PS3xxrm2uBP use a circuit breaker for safety – not a fuse. A rail kit is supplied for mounting in a 4 post 19” rack with an adjustable depth.
Connecting cable is .65m (2.13ft.) long. Additional lengths can be created on special order- these are high current carrying cables as such long lengths may slightly reduce your total runtime.
Also available is PS3300rm2uBP-Split. This pack is internally divided and each half will connect to a different PS3300. This is useful if space for 2 additional battery cabinets is not available and runtime will be satisfactory without the addition of a full battery cabinet.
Batteries
Both standard life and Powerstar Premium extended life extended temperature cells are available. Both are AGM Battery Type Maintenance-free sealed Lead-Acid battery with suspended electrolyte. They are leak proof & CFR49 shippable. Typical recharge time 3 hours to 90% after full run for the UPS. This time will increase as additional battery cabinets are added on.
